10th Memorial Anniversary of Nana Enoo Mutaku II Inspires Educational Support for Eight Students

The 10th memorial anniversary of Nana Enoo Mutaku II, popularly known in private life as Mr. Kenneth Tapley Kwainoe, was marked with reflection, honour, and meaningful community impact, as eight young students—believed to be his grandchildren and namesakes—received educational support.

As part of activities commemorating the late traditional leader, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ekumfi Constituency, Hon. Dr. Othniel Okofo Kwainoe, announced scholarship packages for the beneficiaries to support their academic journeys. He explained that the initiative is designed to preserve the legacy of Nana Enoo Mutaku II by investing in education and empowering the next generation to achieve their full potential.

Hon. Okofo Kwainoe reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the development of the constituency, pledging sustained support for initiatives that promote quality education, improve livelihoods, and accelerate socio-economic growth. He also called on stakeholders, traditional leaders, and residents within the area to collaborate closely with him to ensure the success of ongoing and future development projects.

The Aboradze Royal Family of Ekumfi Essarkyir led a solemn interdenominational memorial service, offering prayers in remembrance of the late chief while celebrating his enduring contributions to the community and traditional leadership.

A memorial lecture held at the MP’s residence brought together dignitaries, opinion leaders, and residents, all reflecting on the life, values, and legacy of Nana Enoo Mutaku II. Speakers highlighted his dedication to community development, unity, and leadership, describing him as a pillar whose influence continues to be felt.

In further honour of his memory, a statue of the late traditional ruler was unveiled, symbolising his lasting impact and the deep respect he commands among the people of Ekumfi.

The event was met with widespread commendation from community members, who applauded Hon. Kwainoe for his leadership style and development-driven agenda. Residents expressed strong support for his continued leadership, urging him to sustain his efforts in shaping the political and developmental trajectory of the Ekumfi Constituency.

The commemoration not only paid tribute to the life and legacy of Nana Enoo Mutaku II but also reinforced a collective commitment to unity, progress, and educational empowerment in the area.
