Police Withdraws Injunction Application On #DumsorMustStop Vigil

At a court sitting on Friday, May 24, 2024, it was made known that the police had in a discreet and tactical manner, withdrawn an injunction application filed against the convenors of the much-publicised Dumsor Vigil, which previously sought to restrain them from proceeding with their intended street protest.
This unexpected dramatic turn of event came hot on the heels of an earlier notice, prompting the police of a change in venue and time for the planned demonstration.
In light of the forgoing  developments, the organizers are now set to hold their planned vigil on a newly chosen date and venue, scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Tetteh Quarshie Roundabout as the final destination from the forecourt of the University of Ghana, as the converging point.
