Some areas in Mankessim got flooded hours after a downpour on Tuesday, October 29.
The downpour, which started around  12am in Mankessim and other areas of the country, has caused massive destruction, leaving several places submerged.
The heavy rainfall obstructed the flow of vehicular traffic on the Mankessim-Kumasi Highway, Baifikrom, School Kessim, Ohwirifa, Ayerfor junction, Edumadze among other areas.
Commuters parked their cars for the rain to subside, others carefully drove through the flood which covered most part of the road.
Residents have appealed to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) for intervention to prevent further disaster.
