Stop Holding Yourself As Chief – Odzikro Of Mpredwo Warns Nana Ama Mole Benyiwa
The Chief and Elders of Anomabo Mpredwo in the Central Region have gone wild and showed displeasure over a situation they described as impersonation following a birthday wishes and other posts shared over the social media, as one Nana Ama Mole Benyiwa I claimed to be the Mawerehen of the Mpredwo community.
Speaking in an interview with NewsAfricaGhana‘s Adom Nanaa Odiasempa Savvy, the Odzikro of Mpredwo noted that, Mole Benyiwa they know does not go all over looking exceptionally dressed making an honest effort holding herself as a chief, so why this hypocritical attitude? Odzikro issued a directive to the purported Mawerehen to appear before him and the Traditional Council in Central Region to apologize for her action and demonstrate a change of good behaviour.
Nana Sresreku Ababio, therefore entreats the general public to disregard the photos used in publishing the identity of the said Nana Ama Mole Benyiwa I as the Mawerehen of Mpredwo in the Central Region.
Nana Ansah expressed a greater worry “if Ama Mole has follow any customary rite or right process to occupy the stool and, therefore, described her purported installation as null and void.”
He added that, the Traditional Council had its own customary processes that served as a guide for the enstoolment and destoolment of chiefs in the traditional area.
Nana Ansah Sresreku Ababio V, emphasized not to allow anyone to hide behind somewhere to tarnish the image of the Anomabo Mpredwo community, adding that chieftaincy disputes drew back development, for which reason they would not be entertained.
