Following President John Dramani Mahama’s presentation of the State of the Nation Address in Parliament on Thursday, February 27, 2024, the Majority side of the House will on March 4, 2025 move a motion for the House to express its gratitude to the President for his address.
The motion will be followed by a debate between the two sides of the House on the details of the President’s address.
The debate will see Members of Parliament discuss, critique, and comment on the content of the SONA, covering areas such as the economy, governance, infrastructure, and the policy objectives outlined by the President.
