In a statement issued on Saturday, May 9, the company announced that the affected stretch will be temporarily closed from Monday, May 11, 2026, to facilitate safe refitting works on the frontage and façade of Terminal 2.

The closure is expected to last for one month, during which the section of the road will be inaccessible to both vehicles and pedestrians.

The statement added that directional signage will be mounted at key points, while traffic management personnel will be deployed on-site to guide commuters and ensure smooth movement within the area.

“GACL regrets any inconvenience and appreciates the cooperation of the travelling public as we carry out these works”, the statement added.
