CACI Television Ltd. has joined Ghana’s nationwide clean-up exercise, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sanitation, community development, and the national campaign to restore communities affected by recent flooding.

The exercise, held at the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) Headquarters in Osu, Accra, saw management and staff of CACI Television actively participate in a comprehensive clean-up aimed at improving environmental hygiene and promoting public health.

Participants cleared overgrown weeds, desilted choked drains within and around the Church’s International Headquarters, and cleaned sections of the Osu community, particularly the area around the Osu Cemetery. The area has reportedly become overgrown and has been identified by residents as a hideout for criminal activities, making the clean-up exercise both a sanitation and community safety initiative.

Leading the exercise was the General Secretary of Christ Apostolic Church International and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CACI Television Ltd., Apostle Samuel Addai-Kusi, who personally joined staff in the clean-up activities.

Speaking to participants, Apostle Addai-Kusi stressed that environmental cleanliness is not only a civic obligation but also a biblical principle that every Christian and citizen should embrace.

He explained that the Bible places great emphasis on cleanliness, adding that maintaining a clean environment reflects good stewardship of God’s creation and contributes significantly to the health and well-being of society.

“Cleanliness is next to godliness. As believers and responsible citizens, we have a duty to keep our surroundings clean to protect lives, prevent disease outbreaks, and reduce the risk of flooding caused by choked drains,” he said.

The General Secretary urged Ghanaians to make environmental sanitation a daily responsibility rather than an occasional exercise, noting that sustained cleanliness is essential to preventing future disasters and creating healthier communities.

Apostle Addai-Kusi also extended the Church’s heartfelt sympathy to individuals and families affected by the recent floods across parts of Ghana. He assured victims of the Church’s continued prayers and support, praying that God would grant them strength, comfort, and complete restoration as they recover from their losses.

The Operations Manager of CACI Television Ltd., Rev. Dominic Boakye Antwi, together with members of management and staff, participated wholeheartedly in the exercise, underscoring the media organization’s dedication to community service, environmental stewardship, and national development.

The participation of CACI Television Ltd. forms part of broader national efforts to improve sanitation, reduce flooding, and encourage citizens, institutions, and corporate organisations to take an active role in keeping their communities clean.

The nationwide clean-up exercise continues to serve as a reminder that environmental sanitation is a shared responsibility requiring the collective efforts of government, religious bodies, private institutions, and the general public to build a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient Ghana.
