A large crowd of NDC officials and members erupted into a frenzy following the arrival of running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-agyemang.
The former Education minister was captured in high spirits, exchanging hearty pleasantries with the ecstatic crowd and the party’s top officials.
Adorned in all white, signalling victory, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang was further captured hugging and interacting with Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the party’s chairman, and some Members of Parliament.
The NDC is launching their campaign at the Jubilee Park in Tamale ahead of the pending December polls.
Thousands of party sympathisers have graced the event.
