Delegates and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Mfantseman Constituency of the Central Region have jubilated following the election of Hon. Aliu Ibrahim Gambo, popularly known as The Action Man, as the new constituency organiser.
The celebrations followed the declaration of the results of the party’s constituency executive elections held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Mankessim Astro Turf.
Hon. Gambo unseated the incumbent organiser, Christian Yankson, after securing 846 votes against Yankson’s 698 votes, giving him a winning margin of 148 votes.
The outcome sparked excitement among Gambo’s supporters and some delegates, who celebrated his victory following the announcement of the results.
His election marks a change in leadership of the constituency’s organising portfolio, with expectations that he will work with the newly elected executives to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and mobilise members for its future political activities.
