The morning sun had only just settled into a soft glow when families began streaming onto the grounds of Leaders International Academy in Abidjan. Clad in festive colours and bright smiles, parents and children arrived with excitement and anticipation, setting the stage for a Christmas celebration that would unfold as a beautiful story of joy, growth, and community.
From the very start, the atmosphere felt less like a formal school function and more like a family reunion. Teachers warmly welcomed parents, helped children adjust costumes, and offered reassuring smiles. Laughter filled the air, and everywhere there was a strong sense of belonging — a shared pride in the journey the school community had taken together throughout the year.
The celebration officially came alive as the Masters of Ceremony took the stage, confidently guiding the audience through the programme and inviting everyone to fully immerse themselves in the day’s experience.

Moments later, the School Director, Mr. Adeshola, delivered the welcome address. Reflecting on the year’s achievements, he praised the resilience of the learners, the dedication of the teaching staff, and the unwavering support of parents. His words served as a powerful reminder that education at Leaders International Academy goes beyond academics — it is equally about building character, confidence, and a strong sense of shared responsibility.
The performances began with the youngest learners from the Crèche.
Dressed in adorable Christmas outfits, they stepped onto the stage with innocent enthusiasm — some shyly clinging to their teachers, others boldly waving to the crowd. Parents leaned forward, phones raised, capturing every priceless moment as the children’s presence alone filled the audience with smiles and laughter. Preschool learners followed with cheerful songs and rhythmic movements, their voices ringing with excitement. The Kindergarten pupils then took centre stage, delivering well-coordinated performances that reflected growing confidence, creativity, and expressive ability.
A thoughtful and reflective moment came when Elisha stepped forward to present a special Christmas poem. With calm poise and heartfelt emotion, he captivated the audience, delivering lines that resonated well beyond his years. The applause that followed was warm, proud, and deeply appreciative.
The tempo soon shifted as the Taekwondo team showcased discipline, strength, and precision. Their impressive display highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic education — nurturing both the mind and the body.
Equally captivating was the UCMAS Brain Jogs segment, where students demonstrated remarkable mental agility through rapid calculations. Gasps of admiration and enthusiastic applause from parents and guests underscored the school’s strong emphasis on academic excellence and cognitive development.
One of the most entertaining moments of the day came with the Parents’ Dance Competition. Laughter and cheers filled the grounds as parents enthusiastically took to the stage, dancing with joy and confidence. It was a powerful reminder that education flourishes best when families actively engage and celebrate alongside their children.
The drama presentation followed, delivering meaningful lessons of kindness, unity, and generosity through confident acting and expressive storytelling. Soon after, a vibrant song and choreography performance brought music and movement together in a lively display of teamwork and creativity.
For many learners, the highlight of the celebration arrived with the grand entrance of Santa Claus. Excitement rippled through the crowd as gifts were shared, cheers erupted, and joyful laughter echoed across the school grounds — creating memories destined to last long beyond the festive season.
As the celebration drew to a close, families gathered to share meals, exchange warm wishes, and reflect on the day’s joyful moments. Teachers and parents mingled freely while children played happily, their laughter filling every corner of the school.
By the end of the event, it was clear that this was far more than a Christmas party. It was a heartfelt celebration of community, leadership, and growth — values that define Leaders International Academy.
Families departed with full hearts and lasting memories, proud to belong to a school where children do more than learn—they grow, they shine, and they lead.
