The Paramount Chief of the Abora Traditional Area, Emintsinminim Otu XI, has issued a 14-day ultimatum to the recently disenstooled Omankrado, Nana Kwaa Amissah II, to vacate all lands and properties under his jurisdiction.

The directive follows the formal disenstoolment of Mr. Asamoah Moses, popularly known in traditional circles as Nana Kwaa Amissah II, from his position as Omankrado of the Abora Traditional Area.

According to sources within the Traditional Council, the decision was reached after a series of allegations were levelled against the former Omankrado, including acts of alleged disrespect toward traditional authority and his refusal to comply with directives issued by the council.

Reports further indicate that tensions escalated during proceedings when Nana Kwaa Amissah II allegedly engaged in a physical confrontation with members of a panel constituted to hear the case, an incident said to have occurred in the presence of the Omanhen, Emintsinminim Otu XI.

Following deliberations, the Traditional Council upheld the decision to remove him from office, citing misconduct and actions deemed inconsistent with the customs and authority of the Abora Traditional leadership.

In a subsequent directive, the Omanhen warned the now-former Omankrado to remove all his belongings and vacate lands belonging to the stool within two weeks, stressing that failure to comply could result in further traditional sanctions.

The development has sparked discussions within the traditional area, as community members await the next steps by the Traditional Council regarding the appointment of a new Omankrado.
