A proud alumnus of Boa Amponsem Senior High School (Class of 2009), Mr. Evans Oheneba Tweneboah, has given back to his alma mater in grand style by renovating the Business Department office into a modern, well-furnished workspace.
Teachers from the Business Department had earlier appealed to former students for assistance to improve the poor condition of their office. After visiting the facility and seeing the situation firsthand, Mr. Tweneboah decided to go beyond the initial request.
While the teachers had only asked for the floor to be tiled and the walls repainted, they were pleasantly surprised when, within a few days, the office was completely transformed. The refurbished space now features a television set, refrigerator, bookshelf, elegant three-seater sofa, office desk and chair, decorative flowers, new doors, and modern lighting fixtures.
The department’s staff were overwhelmed with joy upon entering the new office, describing the transformation as “a little Dubai.” The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and songs of praise for the thoughtful gesture.
The Headmaster of Boa Amponsem Senior High School, Mr. Asante, expressed profound appreciation to Mr. Tweneboah for his generosity and continuous support. He recalled that the businessman had previously donated a set of computers to the school to enhance its administrative and academic work.
Educationist Mr. Ahadzi Emmanuel also commended the initiative and encouraged other alumni to emulate the gesture by contributing to the development of their former schools when blessed with resources.
