Chief To Mount Pressure On Residents To Tackle Sanitation Issues, Advice Youths To Stay Away From Drugs

The Paramount Chief of Abura Traditional Area has urged leaders to tackle sanitation issues in his traditional area to help reduce the outbreak of diseases.
According to the Paramount Chief of Abura Traditional Area, His Royal Majesty Emintsinminim Otu XI, addressing the gathering emphasized that, sanitation has been one of his priorities since he became the Paramount Chief for the area.
Hence, has enacted law for every citizen to involve themselves in cleanup exercise on the first Saturday of every month.
The Chief, according to him, will help do away with any airborne and environmental diseases that may occur on his land.
Emintsinminim Otu XI also advised the youths in the Traditional Area to also do away the intake of drugs and focus on education and jobs.
He then promised to support the area in terms of development.
Emintsinminim also pleaged support to building a new market complex in the Abura Abakrampa community.
The Paramount Chief, is very worrried about the fact that a community like Abakrampa doesn’t have a market centre, which has pushed the market women to always sell under the hot sun.
In dealing with environmental issues in the Abura Traditional Area and the Nation as well, the Chief Executive Officer for Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), Nana Ama Browne Klutse in an interview also advised Ghanaians to let sanitation issues be their hall mark.
According to the CEO, the EPA alone cannot tackle the environmental issues and hence required the support of Chiefs, Stakeholders, and every citizen to support them deal with all forms of environmental issues.
The Member of Parliament for AAK Constituency who doubles as the Minister of Communication in Presidency, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu during a Homecoming celebrations at Abura Abakrampa also promised that the NDC government will do its best to finish all the uncompleted and abandoned projects in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency.
He said, there are numerous challenges in the constituency, being its a bad roads, water crises among others but as he promised during his 2024 campaign, will make sure all his campaign promises has been forfilled within four years.
He assures the good people of AAK constituency to have believe in him, President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC government for they are only political party that has Ghanains problems and challenges at heart and promised that most of their challenges will be solved within their four year mandate.
