Graduate Unemployed Nurses And Midwives Association To Hold Press Briefing Tomorrow

Members of a group calling itself Graduate Unemployed Nurses and Midwives Association (GUNMA) have announced to hold a press briefing over what they described as highly punitive as the government has failed to provide clearance for their posting.
The “Enough Is Enough” press conference is scheduled on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Fairview Hotel in Lapaz at 2:00 pm.
According to the leadership of the association, they are demanding their immediate employment as several engagements with the Health Ministry and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over delays in their posting has yielded no positive result.
GUNMA has vowed to make sure that they elaborate on all the points that are necessary and needed to let the good people of Ghana know what they are going through over the years.
“This press conference has become necessary to voice out our extreme disappointment in the government by abandoning over hundred thousand (100,000) Nurses and Midwives at home for four (4) solid years without postings and also communicates our next line of action in the coming days if our demands are still left unattended.”
