Ghana to Host Rescheduled WAFU B U-20 Boys Cup in July 2025

The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) has announced revised dates for the 2025 U-20 Boys Cup, confirming that Ghana will host the tournament from July 10 to 23, 2025.

This update follows the recent postponement of the original schedule, though details of the earlier changes were not made public.

In a statement, WAFU B called on all seven member nations to begin preparations to ensure full participation in the rescheduled competition.

The U-20 Boys Cup serves as a crucial development platform for emerging football talent in West Africa and often doubles as a qualifier for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. Previous editions have featured future stars who have gone on to play for their respective senior national teams.

Ghana, a dominant force in youth football, last hosted the tournament in 2020 and is expected to deliver a well-organised and highly competitive event once again.
