Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2026 Pub Fest brings Ghana’s DJ culture to Accra

The road to the 2026 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, powered by Smirnoff, is gathering momentum as the Pub Fest tour continues to celebrate Ghana’s vibrant DJ culture ahead of the grand awards ceremony on Friday, December 4, 2026.

The latest stop was Accra, where DJs, entertainers and music lovers converged at Purple Pub on Friday for an energetic night of music, performances and entertainment.

The Accra edition follows successful Pub Fest stops in Winneba, Takoradi and Berekum, extending the awards experience beyond the capital and taking the celebration of Ghana’s DJ culture to audiences across the country.

At Purple Pub, DJ Wallpaper, DJ Juicy, DJ Coleda and DJ Raya took turns behind the decks, while DJ Mark, DJ Kiss and DJ Dhon K also delivered performances that kept patrons entertained throughout the night.

Female DJs take the spotlight

The event also placed a spotlight on the growing presence of women in Ghana’s DJ and nightlife scene.

DJ Coleda, the reigning Ghana DJ Awards Scratch DJ of the Year, showcased her technical skills and stage presence, while DJ Raya brought her own energy to a line-up that reflected the increasing visibility of female DJs within the industry.

One of the night’s major highlights came when Ghanaian hypeman Merqury Quaye joined DJ Juicy on stage for a lively set, further energising the crowd as the night progressed.

The event attracted several personalities from Ghana’s entertainment industry, including DJ Lord OTB, the reigning Hypeman of the Year, and Kojo Manuel. Actress Nana Adjoa Lovia served as host for the evening.

Fiesta Condoms GH₵1,000 cash activation

Another attraction at the event was the Fiesta Condoms GH₵1,000 cash-prize activation, which gave patrons the opportunity to win cash while enjoying the night’s music and entertainment.

The activation formed part of Fiesta’s engagement with patrons during the ongoing Pub Fest tour.

Countdown to the 2026 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards

The Pub Fest forms a key part of the build-up to the 2026 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, organised by Merqury Republic under the theme “All Out.”

The nationwide tour is taking the awards experience to different cities, allowing audiences to interact with DJs and experience the culture, creativity and entertainment that will culminate at the main awards ceremony in December.

The awards are powered by Smirnoff, with Fiesta Condoms and BrainWise Omega 3 as sponsors. Joy Prime TV is the lead media partner, supported by WatsUp TV, MX24, PLUZZ FM, Hitz FM and Revolve Media.

Hohoe next on the Pub Fest route

With stops already completed in Winneba, Takoradi, Berekum and Accra, attention now turns to Hohoe in the Volta Region, which will host the next leg of the Pub Fest tour.

Each stop is adding to the growing excitement around the awards, bringing DJs closer to their audiences while turning nightlife venues across the country into part of the 2026 awards-season experience.

The roadshow will eventually lead to the main Guinness Ghana DJ Awards on Friday, December 4, 2026, when DJs, artistes, industry professionals and fans will come together for the culmination of this year’s celebrations.
