“Let Truth Guide Your Leadership” — Ajumako Paramount Chief Urges Ankobeahen

The Paramount Chief of the Ajumako Traditional Area, Ogyeabo Okokodurfo Kwamena Hamah Ababio II, has charged the newly installed Ankobeahen of Ajumako, Nana Otuapa Kwesi Bosom II, to let truth and integrity guide his leadership and commitment to the development of Ajumako.
The Omanhene made the call during the installation ceremony of Nana Otuapa Kwesi Bosom II as the new Ankobeahen of the Ajumako Traditional Council. He advised the new chief to remain truthful, fair, and just in all his dealings, stressing that honesty should be his “staff of authority.”
According to Ogyeabo Okokodurfo Kwamena Hamah Ababio II, truth must be the foundation of every decision Nana Otuapa Kwesi Bosom II makes as a traditional leader. He cautioned him not to use his position to favour relatives or friends in matters of judgment but to act impartially for the peace and progress of the traditional area.
On his part, Nana Otuapa Kwesi Bosom II expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him and pledged to work hand in hand with the Paramount Chief, elders, and people of Ajumako to promote unity and development. He also called on residents to put aside their political differences and support any government in power in order to advance the progress of the area.
Supporting the call, the Ankobeahen Ebusuapanyin of Ajumako, Nana Kobina Eghan Mankata, emphasized that the development of Ajumako should take precedence over partisan politics. He urged all citizens to prioritize the collective good of the community above political divisions.
The colourful ceremony brought together traditional leaders, elders, and residents of the Ajumako Traditional Area, who witnessed the formal outdooring of the new Ankobeahen amid drumming, dancing, and rich display of culture.
