The newly enstooled Paramount Chief of the Anomabo Traditional Area, Nana Katamanto Amonoo XII, has called on all citizens of Anomabo—both home and abroad—to unite and support the development of the traditional area.

Speaking at the launch of the Anomabo Youth Association, held under the theme “Mobilizing and Re-Activating the Youth for Development and Decision-Making,” Nana Katamanto Amonoo XII emphasized that the progress of Anomabo depends on the collective ideas, contributions, and commitment of its people.

He urged residents and natives to come together to ensure that Anomabo regains its rightful place as a beacon of growth and influence in the Central Region.

“Some have done their part and are gone. It is now our turn to do ours,” the chief said, encouraging all to contribute meaningfully to community development.

Nana Katamanto Amonoo XII also appealed to the Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Prince Kojo Arhin and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Mfantseman, Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah to collaborate closely with traditional authorities to advance the socio-economic development of Anomabo.

In his address as the special guest of honour, the MCE for Mfantseman Municipal Assembly, Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah, commended the people of Anomabo for maintaining peace and unity. He urged them to continue working together across political, social, and religious lines to promote progress within the municipality.

Hon. Acquah further assured the chiefs and people that the Assembly’s doors remain open for dialogue and collaboration, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to supporting local initiatives aimed at improving living standards.

He also lauded the youth for forming the Anomabo Youth Association, describing it as a commendable step toward fostering community-driven development.

“When the youth are organized, progress is inevitable. I encourage you to remain united, innovative, and proactive in supporting the growth of your community,” he stated.

The event brought together traditional leaders, youth groups, opinion leaders, and dignitaries from various sectors, all united by a common goal—to drive sustainable development and restore Anomabo’s historical pride.
