An interdenominational Thanksgiving Service was held at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, January 7, to mark one year since the swearing-in of President John Mahama.

The solemn service brought together government officials, clergy from various Christian denominations, and invited guests to reflect on the administration’s first year in office and to offer prayers for the nation’s continued peace, stability, and progress.

Held at the seat of government, the thanksgiving was characterised by moments of worship, scripture readings, and prayers focused on national unity, leadership, and Ghana’s future.

Participants expressed gratitude for the successes recorded over the past year and committed the work of government in the year ahead into God’s hands.

The ceremony formed part of activities commemorating President Mahama’s first anniversary in office, underscoring the administration’s emphasis on faith, reflection, and collective responsibility in national governance.
