Residents Praise Wassa Amenfi East MCE for First-Ever Farmers’ Day Celebration in Abrokyire Krobo

The chiefs and residents of Wassa Abrokyire Krobo have heaped praises on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wassa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, for hosting the community’s first-ever Farmers’ Day celebration.
According to community members, the decision to decentralize the annual event and bring it to Wassa Abrokyire Krobo has not only boosted local morale but also highlighted the immense contributions of farmers in the area. They noted that the celebration offered an unprecedented platform to recognize hardworking farmers who have long contributed to the municipality’s food production and economic growth.
Local leaders, including traditional authorities, expressed their appreciation to the MCE for his commitment to rural development and his efforts to ensure that previously overlooked communities also benefit from national programmes. They emphasized that the historic event has rekindled a sense of inclusion and motivated farmers to continue expanding their productivity.

Residents also commended the MCE’s vision and leadership, adding that the successful hosting of the event reflects the Assembly’s dedication to promoting agriculture, supporting farmers with needed resources, and strengthening community engagement.
