Seth Terkper Loses Wife; Family Requests Privacy During Difficult Time

Mrs. Deborah Ferguson Terkper, wife of former Finance Minister and current Economic Advisor to former President John Dramani Mahama, Seth Terkper, has passed away at the age of 63.

Mrs. Terkper is reported to have died peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2025, in Fair Oaks, Virginia, USA.

The news has come as a shock to family, friends, and well-wishers, many of whom have described Mrs. Terkper as a kind, supportive, and devoted wife and mother who stood by her husband throughout his public service career.

In a brief statement, the bereaved family expressed profound sadness at the loss and appealed to the public and media to respect their privacy as they mourn.
