The General Overseer of The True Way Church of Jerusalem (TTWCJ), headquartered at Mankessim-Ekumfi Akwakrom, Prophet Charles Kojo Acquah, affectionately known as Sofo Kojo, has sadly passed away.
His sudden demise occurred on Sunday, June 29, 2025, after a short illness. Prophet C.K. Acquah was revered for his charismatic leadership, prophetic gifts, and unwavering dedication to both the spiritual growth and social welfare of his congregation and the wider community.
Under his stewardship, The True Way Church of Jerusalem experienced remarkable growth, establishing branches across various parts of Ghana and drawing thousands of devoted worshippers who looked to him for healing, hope, and spiritual direction.
Following the announcement of his passing, mourners have been gathering at the church’s headquarters to pay their respects. Members of the congregation, sympathisers, and fellow clergy describe Sofo Kojo as a man of deep faith, humility, and compassion — a servant of God whose teachings touched and transformed countless lives.

The church, in collaboration with the bereaved Aboradze family, has scheduled the One-Week Observation for Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Ekumfi Akwakrom, the headquarters of The True Way Church of Jerusalem (TTWCJ).
