Family of 39-Year-Old Who Allegedly Died in Dr. Kwame Despite’s House Demands Justice and Funeral Support

The family of a 39-year-old man, identified as Eduah, who allegedly died in one of the residences of business mogul Dr. Kwame Despite in Accra, is calling for justice and appealing for support towards his burial.
Eduah, who reportedly worked for one of Dr. Despite’s companies, This Way Chocolate Drink, lived in one of the businessman’s houses in Accra. His sudden death came as a shock to the family, as they claim there were no prior reports of illness or accident.
Speaking to the media, the head of the family, Nana Kwa Fosu III — who is also the Tufohen of Ajumako Entumil — said the family dispatched Eduah’s uncle, Kwaku Paintsil, to Accra to verify the news after hearing of his passing. According to Nana Kwa Fosu, the uncle confirmed Eduah’s death upon arrival.
He emphasized that the family is not seeking conflict but is humbly appealing to Dr. Kwame Despite to support the funeral arrangements and assist in uncovering the circumstances that led to Eduah’s untimely death.
Eduah’s uncle, Kwaku Paintsil, also shared his account of what he saw and what the police told him upon his visit. He joined the family’s call for both a thorough investigation and financial support for the funeral.
Eduah’s mother, Madam Felicia, who has been left devastated by the loss of her only son, is pleading for answers and for Dr. Despite to assist in giving her son a dignified burial.
