Voting is underway in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mfantseman Constituency re-election, with 1,799 delegates expected to cast their ballots at the Centre Organisation for Sports (COS Park).
The re-election follows the cancellation of the constituency executive elections held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the same venue.
The Election Committee has scheduled Monday, September 21, 2026, for the fresh election, bringing delegates back to the polls to elect their preferred constituency executives.
Voting commenced at the COS Park, with election officials overseeing the process as delegates exercise their franchise.
The Election Commission and Election Committee is expected to ensure that the exercise is conducted in a credible, transparent, free and fair manner, in accordance with the party’s electoral procedures.
The outcome of the election will determine the new leadership team responsible for steering the affairs of the NPP in the Mfantseman Constituency.
