
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Mfantseman Constituency, Hon. Dr. Ebenezer Prince Kojo Arhin, and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah, have joined members of the Anomabo cultural group in a colourful celebration aimed at promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the community.
The participation of the two leaders highlighted the importance of traditional values, community identity and cultural activities in strengthening unity and promoting development within Anomabo and the wider Mfantseman Municipality.
The colourful cultural display took place following the commissioning of 60 lockable stores at the Anomabo Market, providing an opportunity for community members to showcase aspects of the town’s rich history, traditions and cultural heritage.

The event brought together residents, traditional leaders, cultural enthusiasts and other stakeholders, who participated in the celebration and demonstrated their appreciation for Anomabo’s customs and traditions.
Hon. Dr. Ebenezer Prince Kojo Arhin and Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah interacted with members of the cultural group and reaffirmed the importance of supporting initiatives that promote and preserve the community’s cultural heritage.

They also encouraged residents, particularly the youth, to take an active interest in their cultural heritage, stressing that culture remains an important component of community identity, unity and social cohesion.
The celebration further provided an opportunity for participants to appreciate traditions passed down from one generation to another and to reflect on the need to preserve them for future generations.
The community expressed appreciation to the MP, MCE, traditional authorities, cultural group and other stakeholders for their support and participation, stressing that collective efforts are essential to preserving Anomabo’s cultural heritage and promoting its history and identity.
