King Paluta’s Management Team Petitions TGMA Over Snub Of Hit Song “Makoma”

The management team of Ghanaian musician King Paluta has officially petitioned the board of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) to express their disappointment and surprise at the snub of King Paluta’s hit song “Makoma” in the recently unveiled nominees list.

In a formal letter to the TGMA board, King Paluta’s management team demanded explanations for the omission of “Makoma” from the nomination list, despite being duly submitted for consideration in several categories, including Most Popular Song, Record of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.

The team emphasized that “Makoma” is arguably Ghana’s most popular song released during the year under review, generating immense excitement among music lovers. They expressed confidence in the competence of the TGMA board and trust that a convincing reason will be provided for the snub.

Furthermore, the team reiterated that “Makoma” breaches no moral or ethical requirements of the board and expressed willingness to engage with the TGMA board for possible reconsideration of the song in the submitted categories.
