Impressive Turnout As Assin South DCE Leads Sanitation Exercise

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Assin South, Hon. Jonathan Birikorang, has commended residents for their strong participation in a recent sanitation exercise held at Assin Andoe and Kyinso.
The clean-up exercise brought together Assembly Members, health professionals, security officers, electoral area coordinators, Assembly staff, and the general populace to clean the frontages of homes, clear drainage systems, and remove weeds—all aimed at making the area cleaner.
Hon. Birikorang’s praise highlighted the significant turnout of residents, demonstrating a collective effort toward keeping Assin South clean and tidy.
He urged residents to desist from dumping refuse on the streets and to endeavor to make the district the cleanest in the region, emphasizing that the exercise was focused on improving sanitation practices.
Nana Atta Banafo III, Chief of Assin Andoe and Adontinhen of the Apimanim Traditional Area, stressed that Andoe is the second-largest town in Assin, hence the need to keep it neat and attractive to both investors and tourists at all times.
