The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced the restoration of its Clou Smart Prepayment Metering System following a service disruption.
In a notice issued on Saturday, October 31, 2026, the company said customers can now purchase electricity credits through the ECG PowerApp or at the nearest private prepayment vending station.
ECG expressed appreciation to customers for their patience, support and cooperation during the period of disruption.
The restoration is expected to allow customers using the Clou Smart Prepayment Metering System to resume purchasing electricity credits through the available vending channels.
