Hon. Aliu Ibrahim Gambo, popularly known as The Action Man, has been elected the Mfantseman Constituency Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) following the official declaration of results by the Electoral Commission (EC).
Hon. Gambo polled 846 votes to defeat his contenders in the constituency executive elections held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Mankessim Astro Turf.
The incumbent Constituency Organiser, Christian Yankson, secured 698 votes, while Benjamin Ato Rockson obtained 370 votes.
The results gave Hon. Gambo a winning margin of 148 votes over the incumbent, marking a decisive victory in the contest for the constituency organiser position.
His election places him in a strategic organisational role within the NDC in Mfantseman, where he will be expected to spearhead grassroots mobilisation, coordinate party activities and strengthen the party’s structures across the constituency.
As Constituency Organiser, Hon. Gambo is expected to work closely with other elected executives and party stakeholders to enhance internal coordination, promote unity among members and advance the NDC’s organisational objectives.
The Mfantseman constituency executive elections form part of the NDC’s internal democratic process to elect leaders who will manage the party’s affairs and oversee its organisational activities for the next four years.
With the official results declared, attention will now shift to the newly elected executives and their ability to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and prepare it for future political engagements.
