Broadcast Journalist, Jakams Joe, Loses Mother

A broadcast journalist and technician with Obrumankoma FM, Mr. Joseph Arthur, popularly known in the media space as Jakams Joe, has lost his mother.

The deceased, Obaapanyin Elizabeth Arthur, affectionately called Efua Eduwah, was a cherished member of the Anona Royal Family of Abura Mpeseduadze. Her passing was officially announced by the family.

She peacefully joined her ancestors on Friday, August 8, 2025, after a short illness. She was 72 years old.

The late Obaapanyin Elizabeth Arthur is survived by her husband, Mr. Raymond Arthur (Kwaku Tawiah), and seven children—four males and three females.

The family has indicated that details of the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
