Mr Ibrahim Zakariyya, popularly known as Alhaji Zak, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Mfantseman Constituency.
Announcing his decision, Alhaji Zak said his ambition is driven by a strong commitment to serving the Zongo community, promoting unity within the party, and strengthening the NDC’s grassroots structures across the constituency.
He pledged to work closely with party executives, branch leaders, youth groups, women, and community stakeholders to ensure that the concerns and aspirations of Zongo communities are effectively represented within the party.
According to him, his leadership will focus on inclusiveness, grassroots mobilisation, youth empowerment, and fostering stronger collaboration among party members to enhance the NDC’s electoral fortunes in the constituency.
Alhaji Zak appealed to delegates and party supporters to entrust him with the mandate, promising dedicated, transparent, and selfless leadership that places the interests of the people above all else.
His campaign is anchored on the motto:
“Humanity First.”
