The court has adjourned the case until June 20, 2024
The prime suspect in the shooting to death of a military officer in Kasoa, Ben Lord Ababio, has been officially charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Claiming to be a chief, Ben Lord is accused of fatally shooting the officer at the Millennium City Police Station.
Initially arraigned on May 3, 2024, the accused has since been held in remand. The police, having concluded their investigation, sent the case file to the Attorney-General’s office for advice.
After weeks of deliberation, the Attorney-General has directed the police to proceed with murder and conspiracy charges against Ben Lord.
Furthermore, Nana Amoh Kwakye, the second individual implicated in the case, faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder.
Meanwhile, the court has adjourned the case until June 20, 2024.
