
Ghana’s Deputy Head of Mission and Deputy Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sanni Jajah, has passed away.
Mr Jajah served at Ghana’s diplomatic mission in Riyadh, working alongside Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare.
As Deputy Head of Mission, he played an important role in Ghana’s diplomatic engagement with Saudi Arabia and contributed to strengthening relations between the two countries.
He was also involved in matters concerning the welfare of Ghanaians living in the Kingdom, including providing support and assistance to Ghanaian pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia for religious activities.
His death is expected to be a significant loss to Ghana’s diplomatic community, particularly those who worked closely with him in advancing Ghana-Saudi relations and supporting Ghanaian nationals in the Kingdom.
Details surrounding his death, including the cause and circumstances of his passing, have not yet been officially disclosed.
