Following what he described as the abysmal performance of Ghana’s Black Stars and their disappointing AFCON setback against the Gambia national team, broadcast journalist Justice Kwame Addex Ofori of Obrumankoma FM in Mankessim has called for the removal of Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku.
According to Kwame Addex Ofori, the recent performance of the senior national team raises serious questions about the leadership and direction of Ghana football, particularly at the level of the football association.

Speaking on the matter, he argued that there is a need for a fresh approach to the administration and development of football in Ghana, insisting that a change in leadership could help restore confidence among football supporters.
In an unconventional proposal, the broadcaster suggested that Bishop Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, Founder of the Universal Spiritual Outreach, could take over as GFA President.

He further proposed Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, General Overseer of the Believers Worship Centre (BWC), as an assistant to Bishop Ajagurajah in the proposed football administration.
Justice Kwame Addex Ofori believes that the leadership styles of the two religious figures could bring a different approach to the management of Ghana football and potentially help address some of the challenges confronting the sport.
He argued that Ghanaian football requires leadership capable of restoring discipline, accountability, unity and confidence among players, officials and supporters.
The comments come amid renewed public debate over the performance of the Black Stars, the administration of the GFA and the broader direction of Ghana football.

While the proposal to have Bishop Ajagurajah and Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah involved in the administration of the GFA is unconventional, it reflects the growing frustration among some football enthusiasts over the national team’s recent performances and the calls for changes in the management of Ghana football.
Justice Kwame Addex Ofori’s remarks were made in the context of his assessment of the Black Stars’ performance and the leadership of the GFA.
