Abura Ahomfie Chief Nana Appreh Korankye IX Pledges Jobs, Development and Youth Empowerment

The newly enstooled chief of Abura Ahomfie, Nana Appreh Korankye IX, has pledged to spearhead development and create sustainable employment opportunities for the youth in the community.
Speaking to residents after his enstoolment, Nana Appreh Korankye IX highlighted his vision to transform Abura Ahomfie through strong collaboration with key stakeholders. He noted that the community has fallen behind in terms of infrastructure and socio-economic development, stressing the urgent need for intervention.

The chief underscored the importance of youth empowerment, warning that idleness can lead to social vices. He assured the people that job creation would be a central focus of his leadership to ensure a brighter and more secure future for young people in the area.
“As a predominantly farming community, we will engage the appropriate authorities to introduce modern agricultural practices to boost productivity and improve livelihoods,” he stated.

The Obaatan of Abura State, Nana Tsibu Amanfo, who represented the Abura Omanhene, expressed satisfaction with the peaceful and successful enstoolment. She urged the new chief to promote unity and maintain peace in the community while pledging her support to help him achieve his development agenda.
She also called on the Queen Mother to work closely with Nana Appreh Korankye IX to ensure the realization of his vision for the people. 
Residents of Abura Ahomfie, however, raised concerns about the lack of basic infrastructure, including poor roads and limited access to essential services. They appealed to the Member of Parliament and the District Chief Executive for Abura Asebu Kwamankse to come to their aid and support ongoing development efforts.
The enstoolment of Nana Appreh Korankye IX is widely seen as a renewed opportunity for progress, with residents hopeful that his leadership will bring lasting transformation to Abura Ahomfie.
