As part of activities marking its 30th anniversary, MTN Ghana celebrated journalists from the Central and Western Regions, recognising their invaluable contribution to informing the public and promoting national development through responsible journalism.
The recognition formed part of this year’s media and stakeholder engagement held under the theme “30 Years of Progress, Powered by You,” which brought together media practitioners, industry stakeholders, and MTN executives to commemorate the telecommunications company’s three decades of operations in Ghana.
The media and stakeholders forum held on Wednesday, July 15, at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi was not only a platform for MTN Ghana to unveil its future growth and sustainability strategies but also an opportunity to appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and partnership of journalists who have supported the company’s journey over the past 30 years.
As a token of appreciation, journalists from the Central and Western Regions were rewarded with an array of exciting and valuable prizes through a raffle draw.
The giveaways included smartphones, home appliances, electronic gadgets, shopping vouchers, and other attractive gifts, creating an atmosphere of excitement and celebration throughout the event.
