Ama Oduma Foundation Officially Inaugurated at Kormantse Okyir Festival

A newly established non-profit organization, the Ama Oduma Foundation (AOF), has been officially inaugurated during the grand durbar of the Kormantse Okyir Festival held on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

The foundation, founded and led by Madam Joyce Ama Oduma, aims to promote the welfare of children, the aged, and other vulnerable groups in society. Speaking at the launch, Madam Oduma outlined the foundation’s mission and vision, emphasizing compassion, empowerment, and community development as its core values.

“Our mission is to provide essential care, empower children, and promote a society where everyone contributes to a better world — one where compassion knows no boundaries,” she stated.

As part of its community engagement, the Ama Oduma Foundation supported this year’s Kormantse Okyir Festival through various donations and logistical assistance, reaffirming its commitment to promoting culture and social well-being. Madam Oduma further appealed for greater cooperation and collaboration among community members to advance development and unity.

The durbar brought together several dignitaries, including chiefs, political figures, security personnel, social welfare, health officers, the media, and representatives from various benevolent organizations.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Festival Durbar who doubles as the Chief of Kokwado, Nana Kwansah III, commended the foundation for its timely intervention and pledged his continuous support toward initiatives that promote development and unity within the area.
