Carlos Queiroz has officially unveiled Ghana’s final 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, confirming the players who will represent the nation at the global tournament.
The announcement brings an end to weeks of speculation surrounding the final selections, with several notable decisions made ahead of Ghana’s opening match of the competition.
Among the major exclusions are goalkeepers Paul Reverson and Solomon Agbasi, who have both been dropped from the provisional 28-man squad. Vice-captain Alexander Djiku also misses the tournament after failing to recover from injury, paving the way for Derrick Luckassen to earn a late call-up in defence.
The squad blends experience and youthful talent, with fifteen players set to make their FIFA World Cup debut for the Black Stars.
Leading the team are experienced names such as Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Inaki Williams and Antoine Semenyo, while emerging stars including Ernest Nuamah, Christopher Bonsu Baah and Caleb Yirenkyi are expected to play key roles.
