Residents of Volta Bar, a sub of Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality have been gripped with fear and panic as they have been thrown into a state of shock following the sudden death of an unidentified male body found on Wednesday morning, February 21, 2024, along the Mankessim-Cape Coast Highway.
The deceased is believed to be in his 70s.
Eyewitnesses account has it that, they had an encounter with the deceased days ago but all attempts made to know much about him proved futile as he (the deceased) failed to answer their questions, they bemoaned.
NewsAfricaGh’s report according to the Assembly Member of the New Nkusukum Electoral Area, Hon. Ali Abubakari Amoah indicated that, he was dispatched to the scene early on Wednesday morning aroun6:30 amam following several reports he received.
He further called on the public to be each other’s keepers as he sought police assistance to find the family of the deceased.
The cause of his death is yet to be known as an official complaint has been made to the Mankessim Police Command by the Assembly Member of the electoral area as of the time of the report.
