Renowned broadcast journalist and entertainment show host, Saint Truth, has commemorated his 40th birthday in a deeply personal and symbolic way — by getting his first-ever tattoo. The tattoo, etched on his left shoulder, bears his life quote:
“BECAUSE OF DEATH ☠️; NOTHING PLEASES ME IN THIS WORLD.”
Speaking in an exclusive interview with NewsAfricaGhana, Saint Truth revealed the profound meaning behind the inscription. He explained that the words are a reflection of his life journey, marked by pain, loss, and harsh realities. His most devastating experience, he recounted, was the loss of his beloved son, God-Is-Real, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
“Death has shaped my entire outlook on life. It took away my joy, and since then, I have come to believe that all is vanity. No matter what we achieve or hold dear, death ends it all for mankind,” he said with deep emotion.
Reflecting on his life, Saint Truth shared that he has endured accusations, persecution, lies, intimidation, assault, poverty, and even attempts on his life. “Life has not been fair to me since my childhood,” he stated, adding that his tattoo is both a personal statement and a permanent reminder of his truth.
When asked about public criticism, he confidently responded, “I’m not afraid of what people will say. I’m 40 years old today, though some people think I’m lying because of my baby face — forever young!” he laughed.
In addition to this milestone, Saint Truth revealed plans to revive his music career, which had been on hold for some time. Known on stage as Daddy Truth, he promised fans a new chapter blending music and media in his own unique style.
