Mfantseman and Abura Tetsi Gyaasehen Mourn as Security Officer Samuel Quansah Is Laid to Rest

Tears flowed and heartfelt tributes were paid as family, friends, colleagues, and community members gathered to bid a final farewell to Samuel Quansah, popularly known as “SK,” a dedicated security officer with Mfantseman FM and the office of the Gyaasehen of Abura Tetsi, Nana Kobina Mankata I.
The late Samuel Quansah was laid to rest on Saturday in accordance with family and traditional rites, bringing together mourners from across the Mfantseman Municipality and beyond.

A Short Stay, A Lasting Impact
Although Samuel served with Mfantseman FM and Nana Kobina Mankata I for less than a year, his colleagues say he left an unforgettable mark through his discipline, humility, and unwavering commitment to duty.
Speaking during the burial service, Nana Kobina Mankata I described Samuel as a loyal and trustworthy young man whose dedication earned the admiration of everyone around him.

“In the short time Samuel worked with us, he demonstrated integrity, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility. He was respectful, hardworking, and dependable. His absence will be deeply felt,” the Gyaasehen said.
Mfantseman FM Pays Tribute to a Trusted Team Member
Management and staff of Mfantseman FM also paid glowing tribute to their fallen colleague, describing him as more than just a security officer.
The station’s manager, speaking on behalf of the staff, said Samuel was an essential part of the organization and contributed significantly to creating a safe and welcoming environment.
“Samuel was not just our security officer; he was a member of our family. He carried out his duties with professionalism and dedication, and his calm nature made everyone feel secure. His passing is a painful loss to all of us.”

Friends and co-workers recalled Samuel’s willingness to assist others, often going beyond the scope of his duties. Many praised his respectful demeanor, quiet strength, and positive attitude.
Mourners described him as a young man with great promise whose untimely death has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.
